Take the solar tour with us! We’ve been in the solar business since 1985 and can share with you how to plug into the sun and save. Visit our demonstration center to participate in the 2011 ASES National Solar Tour, receive a map of local solar homes and check out a variety of solar products.

16 of our customers have also opened their doors to share their solar with you. Talk to homeowners who use the systems daily about their experiences and ask questions. Solar tour maps are available at our showroom to registered participants. All systems are located in SE MI including: Ann Arbor • Belleville • Birmingham • Canton • Garden City • Plymouth • Royal Oak • Southfield • Belleville • Livonia • Washington • Warren

• An 8 panel solar water heated Laundromat

The ASES National Solar Tour is the world's largest grassroots solar event. This event offers you the opportunity to tour Mechanical Energy Systems "The Solar Specialist" and see how you can use affordable solar energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies to reduce monthly utility bills.

Now in its 16th year, this event is coordinated nationally by the nonprofit American Solar Energy Society in collaboration with dozens of outstanding partner organizations. It takes place annually during the first Saturday in October in conjunction with National Energy Awareness Month
